3rd ECSCI Workshop on Critical Infrastructure Protection and Resilience – 29-30 April 2025
The European Cluster for Securing Critical Infrastructures (ECSCI) is pleased to announce the 3rd edition of its annual workshop, dedicated to advancing research and innovation in critical infrastructure protection and resilience. Following the success of previous editions, this year’s workshop will be hosted by Tecnalia in Bilbao, Spain, with the option for remote participation on April 29-30, 2025.
About the Workshop
The ECSCI Workshop serves as a premier forum for knowledge exchange, bringing together leading experts, policymakers, and stakeholders from the cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience domains. It provides an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge research and discuss strategies for securing critical infrastructures against emerging threats.
Key Highlights
- Insights from EU Officials: High-level representatives from the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs (DG HOME) – D2 Counter-Terrorism & B4 Innovation and Security Research, and the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) – Unit H.2 Cybersecurity and Digital Privacy Policy will provide strategic insights into European security policies and initiatives.
- Keynote Addresses: Distinguished speakers from the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the Joint Research Centre (JRC), and the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) will share their perspectives on the evolving landscape of infrastructure security.
- Showcasing EU-Funded Research: Presentations from 26 EU-funded projects will highlight the latest advancements and innovations in critical infrastructure protection and resilience.
- Panel Discussions and Roundtables: Engaging dialogues among industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers will explore pressing challenges and collaborative solutions in infrastructure security.
- Thematic Presentations: A broad spectrum of topics, including cybersecurity, physical security, and resilience strategies, will be addressed by experts in the field.
