The Integrated Software Toolbox we’re developing will empower predictive cybersecurity management, optimization, and sensing across the IoT-to-Cloud continuum. This innovative toolbox aims to maximize infrastructure security and data privacy, minimizing impacts on computing power, energy consumption, and operational costs essential to businesses. Central to our approach is the use of Twinning tools, which create virtual, isolated dataspaces for simulating and stress-testing cybersecurity scenarios. This virtual replication allows Threat Intelligence tools to assess and mitigate risks effectively without impacting real-time operations, adhering to user-defined constraints on computing resources, energy, and more. Scalability and interoperability are ensured through open standards and APIs (including Eclipse Connector), while AI automation enhances every aspect of the Toolbox’s operations. A zero-trust Identity & Access Management framework will span hardware, system, and application levels, securing the entire pipeline. Our developments will be validated through a sophisticated Lab testbed and TRL7-level deployments, with demonstrations across critical sectors like telecommunications, healthcare, transportation, nuclear infrastructure, and smart cities. By reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, the Toolbox supports EU priorities in sustainability, security, and economic resilience. We’ll foster industry acceptance and long-term viability through open-source standards, EU-wide data integration (e.g., GAIA-X, IDSA), and a dedicated portal connecting our dataspaces with broader EU cybersecurity and AI initiatives.
